mjpeg to h264 #224

I have frame by frame pictures which I am trying to publish to rtsp-simple-server looks like webrtc and HLS does not work with mjpeg. any code pointers how can i convert mjjpeg to h264 stream.

i also verified the method get invoked in the encoder for first time : https://github.com/gen2brain/x264-go/blob/master/x264c/x264c.go#L739

rtsp works, the webrtc/hls are only not working.

Hello, in order to convert a M-JPEG stream into H264 you can use ffmpeg inside the runOnReady hook as explained here:
https://github.com/aler9/mediamtx#remuxing-re-encoding-compression

General question - Does this comes with extra CPU overhead or doing it natively via in-house modification.
