In RStudio Cloud messages, warnings, and errors are currently all the same emergency red color causing users to think they got an error when they executed successfully, and then to get used to ignoring red text and not notice errors as a result.

autoread() is particularly spammy. Give it an argument for tuning the level of verbosity:

  • Silent except when exiting without a successful file read
  • Above and offer advice on how to better invoke autoread next time
  • All nested errors
  • All nested errors and messages
