Hmm, not sure.
As long as you remove from GUI first, and then create the YAML sensor you should be fine. |

Hi, are you Dutch?Changing a device, it looks that i have limited choices. I have 3 options, base, library and advanced.I have the feeling that initial setup gives more, but not sure. But changing…what can i do.. at least i don’t understand how i can change a sensor to another sensor. Base does give an oportunity to change the source, but thats not working. Library works i think. Advanced is quite empty too. I have utility sensors set, but it looks that i haveto set them again up loosing all history. Trying to find solutions in your documentation . No succes. Btw, very happy with your add on.BrBenVerstuurd vanaf mijn iPadOp 12 jan 2025 om 18:19 heeft Bram Gerritsen ***@***.***> het volgende geschreven:
Hi, i replaced a Lidl lamp with a Hue lamp. Would like to continue all the measurements and keep LTS up to date. Looks like its not working when i tried to replace the source to the Hue sensor.
Hmm, not sure.
What steps did you do exactly?
Another issue, i started powercalc in GUI mode. I regret that and would like to change to yaml. Is that possibel? Reason: when trying to change setting in GUI, I dont get all settings…

But please first test with one entity first before migrating.
What exactly are you missing in GUI? We could have a look if it makes sense to add a certain setting. Almost all settings should be supported in the GUI.

Dutch: sure no problem.I am not sure if its a bug or that i do something wrong. Will be back tomorrow. Still very glad with this super integration.GreetzVerstuurd vanaf mijn iPadOp 12 jan 2025 om 20:43 heeft Bram Gerritsen ***@***.***> het volgende geschreven:
Yes I'm dutch, but please keep conversation in English, as others are also reading this.
In the options menu only options relevant to the choosen sensor type after initial setup are shown. When you miss anything there we can add it.
You should be able to change the source entity on the Base options screen, when this is not working please create an issue for it with details. Do you get errors? Included logs etc.
Library options only allows you to select a different profile from the library, but does not change the source entity in any way.
