There is a current list of database at https://github.com/bridgedb/tiwid/tree/main/data

At some point the idea is that databases like Ensembl and Uniprot will release this kind of information in a FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperably, reusable) way under a CCZero license/waiver themselves.

But there are many other databases that also suffer from outdated identifiers. We welcome new data sources and new data in the hacktoberfest and with sufficient data your PR will be tagged as hacktoberfest-accepted.

IMPORTANT: your contribution will automatically follow the repository license/waiver CCZero. Please confirm in the pull request.
