Talk Title:

Docketeer 3.0: An Innovative Tool to Manage Docker Containers

Talk Description:

My team of software developers and I have increased the viability of an open source alternative to monitoring container health in our recent iteration of Docketeer.

Docketeer 3.0 is a project launched 07/1/2021 through Open-Source Labs. As is true with all products on OS labs, Docketeer 3.0 is free and open source. Docketeer 3.0 is a monitoring system for Docker that implements user defined thresholds around processing usage and memory demands. Docketeer 3.0 then notifies users when these thresholds have been breached via email or text. Docketeer 3.0 also provides visualizations of each container's metrics as line and pie graphs for signed in users within Docketeer’s dashboard.
