Hello! I haven’t yet had the time to clean that up yet. I removed the donation options when Buttercup transitioned under the new company where I felt that having a donation option would be a conflict of interest, to some degree. The company is receiving enough cashflow to cover Buttercup’s expenses these days, which wasn’t the case earlier on. The donations helped keep the platform hosted for a long while. Now it needs more hands to develop and shape it.. debug it.. and donations wouldn’t really cover that kind of cost. It needs people’s time rather than money, ultimately. Story of all OSS I suppose 😅. Anyway - I appreciate you showing interest. The best you can do to support Buttercup is to help where you can, or spread our existence via word of mouth. We have a ton of plans to get through: new self hosted service, new desktop UI, new mobile UI, passkeys. These aren’t small items. 🙏
