Describe the bug

I am running the Kubuntu desktop on Ubuntu Plucky with a German keyboard. The font size cannot be increased using <CTRL><+>.

To Reproduce

With <CTRL><-> I can reduce the font-size but <CTRL><+> does not increase it.
Instead <CTRL><´> increases the size. This letter is located where a US-keyboard has the <+>.

German keyboad layout

Expected behavior

<CTRL><+> increases the font size.
