"Waiting for Daemon" Error #3893
Comments
Hi @jr0202 ! Did you just install Multipass, or did this bug only occur recently and you were able to use Multipass correctly in the past? You may also try to have a look at our Troubleshooting documentation, we recently added a new topic on How to troubleshoot launch/start issues that might help you shed light on what's happening. |
Hi!
This bug recently occurred. I was able to use Multipass perfectly fine the
past couple of weeks. I do have Sequoia 15.2 and Multipass version 1.15.0.
Not sure why it’s not working.
Thank you!

Also, could you please double check your macOS version (e.g. Sequoia 15.2)
and Multipass version (e.g. 1.15.0)? Thanks, it will help us contextualize
your issue a bit better.

Hi @jr0202 , thanks for the clarification. It would be helpful to see your logs, could you please share them here? I'm pasting the instructions on how to locate them below:

Hi,
I am not able to see my logs because I do not have sudo installed. When I
try to install sudo, it gives me this message: cannot connect to the
multipass socket.
I need the instance name to download sudo but I can't get my multipass
socket to connect.
