Still not working via Steam Snap. Tried with Proton Experimental / 4.11 / 4.2. Respectful results in screenshots.

Appears like a NVIDIA GPU (and proprietary driver issue at least on Steam Snap). On old Intel GPU the game launches. Additionally changing the Proton version to 4.11-13. Proton Experimental and 7.0-6 were tried at first. Many classic LucasArts titles work with Proton 4.11-13 for some reason. os_release: |

The game now appears to launch (takes a little time to reach main menu though) and work well with Proton 9.0-2 AND Experimental (as of this date). So no older Proton no longer required! NVIDIA GPU with proprietary drivers remains unsolved. os_release: |

ASKS FOR CD ROM ON LAUNCHING. The game is installed on a separate physical HDD for only Steam games. Does the sandboxing cause the trouble in this OR the CD ROM request?
The game launches and works flawlessly with Proton 4.11 on REGULAR Steam but on Snap Steam when launching pops up a window:
"Could not find CD
Please make sure that the game is properly installed and that the CD is in your drive."
Proton versions tried:
4.11-13
4.2-9
5.0-10
7.0-6 (this is chosen on Steam Deck by default and works)
Experimental (not even that CD nagging window pops up)
