PS4 controller doesn't get detected by Steam or games #239

Describe the bug
When connecting a PS4 controller Steam won't detect it and won't allow me to configure and it and won't work in game.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Connect a PS4 controller either by cable or Bluetooth
- Launch Steam and open Big Picture
- Open Settings > Controller and see if it shows on there
- Try to navigate on the interface using the controller, or open a game with controller support
Expected behavior
Steam and its games should recognize the controller, and on Big Picture, show the correct buttons on screen (in this case, PlayStation buttons)

Additional Context
First I used the stable version of this Snap (currently 1.0.0.75) and did what is told on the FAQ, regarding controllers, including making sure plugs are connected, then changed channels (also did a reinstall, why not) to the Edge channel (currently on (1.0.0.76).
When gathering logs, I saw that actually my controller was detected, or at least is what I think (see above), but I still couldn't navigate on Big Picture, playing games or even configuring it.
