System report: "Gathering system report, please wait..." (keeps spinning forever, can't submit)

Ensure there isn't an existing issue for this and check the wiki

• This issue is not a duplicate and I have checked the wiki.

Current Behavior

Does not send the system report forward. Seemingly loads / gathers, but this goes on eternally. Does not send forward (Submit button keeps greyed out). Works via the deb package right away.

Expected Behavior

To gather the system info for report, to be able being send (submit) forward as in deb package of Steam.

Steps To Reproduce

Steam's upper bar help tab -> System report. Nothing seems to happen.
