Incorrect Capture Area on External Monitor

I found an issue when capturing a selected area on an external monitor.

When I select an area on my external display and start the recording, the resulting capture is incorrect:
only a small part of the background is visible, while the rest of the recorded area appears completely black.

Expected Behavior
The selected area on the external monitor should be captured exactly as shown on screen. In my particular case, the capty.app website. I've just scrolled up and down and opened the Frequently Asked Questions, nothing fancy there.

Actual Behavior
The recording contains a partially visible background, with the majority of the capture being black.

Additional Context
To make the issue clearer, I also took photos of both screens to show how the displays look in reality compared to the recorded result. This only seems to happen when selecting an area on an external monitor.
