Please update your gem with changes. It need to replace GET request to PUT

  response = Net::HTTP.get(options[:host], path, options[:port])
  response = JSON.parse(response)

replace to this

  http = Net::HTTP.new(options[:host], options[:port])
  resp = http.send_request('PUT', path)      
  response = JSON.parse(resp.body)
