Ficus seems awesome at reading config files, but what about writing or updating them? There is nearly no reference to how it writes back.

@ryantheleach ficus has a pretty narrow focus. It only puts a thin wrapper on Typesafe config, adding the benefit of type classes.

I wouldn't currently consider writing config files within the scope of ficus. And to be honest, I use knobs at work now, so I don't see myself adding support for this in the future.

You raise a good point, and I should at least spell out the scope of ficus in the readme, so I'll leave this issue open until I've at least done that.
