Code of Conduct

Introduction

As contributors and maintainers of the dart_depcheck project, we pledge to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. We value the participation of individuals and are committed to providing a harassment-free experience for all, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, age, religion, or nationality.

We expect all participants to adhere to this Code of Conduct when interacting with the project community, both online and offline.

Expected Behavior

All participants are expected to:

  • Be respectful and considerate towards others.
  • Exercise empathy and kindness in all interactions.
  • Use inclusive language and avoid offensive or derogatory comments.
  • Be open to constructive feedback and differing opinions.
  • Focus on collaboration and fostering a positive learning and sharing environment.
  • Respect the privacy and personal information of others.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are considered unacceptable within the project community:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form.
  • Hate speech, offensive or derogatory comments, or personal attacks.
  • Posting or displaying explicit or sexual material.
  • Disruptive or offensive comments, trolling, or sustained disruption of discussions.
  • Any other conduct that violates the rights of others or interferes with the project's purpose and goals.

Reporting Incidents

If you witness or experience any behavior that violates the Code of Conduct, we encourage you to report it promptly. You can contact the project maintainer at [[email protected]]. All reports will be kept confidential, and the maintainers will review and investigate each case appropriately.

Consequences

Participants who engage in behavior that violates the Code of Conduct may be subject to consequences, including but not limited to warnings, temporary or permanent bans from participation in the project community, and escalation to the appropriate authorities.
