Why does the Windows version of the 0.24.1 installer try to modify my installation of Discord?

I don't know if maybe the installer got hacked or what but when I ran it after downloading it it tried to modify several files in my Discord installation. This is the sort of behavior exhibited by viruses and malware! There really should be no reason for it to attempt to modify my Discord installation (especially since the .zip version doesn't do this!). If it was unintentional please make sure it gets fixed!

I highly doubt its trying to modify discord. ChaiNNer and Discord are both electron apps that use an installer package called squirrel. Without knowing any more information it sounds like you're seeing something intentional on the electron/squirrel side and getting confused. Could you elaborate on why you think it's messing with discord?
