Thank you for your work, but how launch it in the terminal of ubuntu?
I've tried with respin, linuxrespin, linux-respin respin-ub,... and tells me that he does not know it.
I installed via synaptic from the repository of vivid and dpkg and nothing :-(

Hi Jose,

Thank you for your interest in Respin.

Once you clone the repo. you can install the ubuntu deb in the cli like this
This install is for Ubuntu 12.04 and 14.04. 64B cli that is all we have
tested so far

Installation procedures in a terminal where your downloaded file is
sudo dpkg -i respin-ub_1.0.0-1.deb
It will not grab all of the dependencies yet, but then do
sudo apt-get install -f

then simply run
sudo respin

it will show you a menu with options.

Please test it out and let us know how you like it or have any suggestions.

Thanks for trying Respin,
adrenaline

Ok
I understand where it should be the problem.
I have installed Ubuntu 15.04 ;-(
When you try to
sudo dpkg -i respin-ub_1.0.0-1.deb
It tells me that it is not a file in debian format debian :-(
With synaptic is installed but then when you try to throw it in a terminal tells me that you don't know it
With the latest remastersys I can do iso well, but boot up it gives me an error:
"failed to load COM32 file version vesamenu.c32"
and I don't know how to solve it :-(
Thanks!

Hi Jose,

We have not tested it on 15.04 yet as it is systemd. We are currently
working planning on it soon, but for the most part we are going to support
the LTS releases. If we get further information, we will pass it along, and
also update github. Also if you come up with further revelations, Please
feel free to let us know.

You can be our honorary 15.04 tester.

Thank you,
adrenaline

Well good luck! I will also try it this week, and see what I can come up
with. Feel free to stay in touch if you have any questions.

I imagine there will be no problem with 14. The original remastersys worked very well. The problem has come to me with 15 and so was looking for alternatives. If Respin is similar to Remastersys in their function and way of doing things, simply solving the problems of the new versions of Ubuntu, it will be a good substitute. Thanks!

I don't know if this will help you to Resin, but I discovered that the problem was the usb-creator-GTK 0.2.67.
Creating the Flash drive with Unetbootin the iso made with remastersys+Ubuntu 15.04 + Desktop MATE goes well :-)
