We want to run our test-kitchen tests on rhel7-compatible linux aarch64 based test runners which currently use the chef-workstation rpm for x86_64 using the kitchen-vagrant backend for test-kitchen and the vagrant-libvirt backend for vagrant.
Describe the Need:
A version of the chef-workstation rpm for the aarch64 architecture.
Current Alternative
Install ruby, test-kitchen, inspec, gems etc. into their own bundle on the test runners.
Can We Help You Implement This?:
We've attempted to run the chef-workstation rpm build on aarch64, and received build errors. If it's possible to build the rpm ourselves with a workaround that is acceptable.
