It's not exactly preventing obsidian. it's just that it's wrapped the whole text in html. So the html renderer is just rendering as is.

You're probably aware, but in case you're not: The links are rendered correctly in "Reading view" (run the command "Toggle reading view"). That's how I work around the issue.

Getting the same behavior in "Editing view" is not straightforward (or maybe impossible) to achieve with a plugin.
