It would be good to see a progress bar when things are downloading, such as a package so that a user kind of has an indication that things are still waiting.

In addition to this it'd be nice to see exactly which package is downloading.

Additionally, when you update a bunch of packages, it would be nice if there was some indicator like

Updating package xy (3/15)

Because I'm not really interested in the exact console output (and probably am not really capable of interpreting it anyways). I just would like to see an approximate progress of the whole process.
