Hey,
totally on your side. This is speaking from my heart. I shun away from everything with CoCs because most of the time it is assuming I'm not a sensible person and cannot behave, which makes me feel unwelcome, disrespected and insecure.

Thanks for highlighting the GNU Guidelines. Kind of funny (or really alarming) when the supposed "radical copyleft ideologists" from the GNU Project have a more reasonable / human / forgiving approach than all the self-proclaimed "open source pragmatists".
