Won't launch on Windows 11

When I run the executable it shows a CMD, shows a black screen for a split second and then just closes

Could you show your log.txt? It should be in the same folder with alien.exe.

2024-05-27 08-26-02: initialize GLFW and OpenGL
2024-05-27 08-26-03: set full screen mode
2024-05-27 08-26-03: initialize GLAD

Have you checked the readme file in the alien folder? It contains a section on troubleshooting (could be point 3 or 4).

It's located one folder up (I will rearrange the files in the future).

Updating my Nvidia drivers and restarting fixed it for me.

im having the same issue
ive tried updating drivers and restarting but i still get this issue running ./alien.exe -d

An uncaught exception occurred: Failed to load texture

log.txt looks like this
