How does @dnd-kit detect pointer events outside of window?

Thanks for the great library!

I was curious how @dnd-kit continues to capture the pointer events once the pointer has left the window/document? I was looking through the code and I couldn't see anything which was requesting pointer lock. Not sure if I'm missing something obvious?

Having looked into this further I believe you can achieve it with Element.setPointerCapture(event.pointerId) but I'm still not sure how dnd-kit can achieve this for non pointer events e.g. using the MouseSensor
