Evaluate the complete project on load

When I start Emacs and start Cider, is it possible to evaluate all *.clj files that belong to the project? It seems that I need to open every file manually and press C-c C-k.

I tried M-x cider-ns-menu, but I only get Suffix command cider-ns-reload is not defined or autoloaded.

Yes. M-x cider-load-all-project-ns loads every namespace in the project in one go. It asks for confirmation first.

To run it automatically every time you connect, without the prompt:

(add-hook 'cider-connected-hook #'my/cider-load-project)

This is the same nREPL op the interactive command uses, just without the y-or-n-p.

Alternatives:

• M-x cider-ns-refresh (C-c M-n r) uses tools.namespace to reload changed namespaces in dependency order. It's usually better during a session than reloading everything.
• If most of your code is reached from one entry namespace, just C-c C-k that one file. Its requires load everything else.

The cider-ns-reload is not defined or autoloaded error from cider-ns-menu means cider-ns hasn't been loaded yet. (require 'cider-ns) in your config fixes it. Also make sure your CIDER package isn't a mix of old and new files (reinstall it if it is).

If most of your code is reached from one entry namespace, just C-c C-k that one file. Its requires load everything else.

I would like to run all the unit tests after loading a project; so I tried that, and while cider-load-all-project-ns seems to do something, when I use cider-test-run-project-tests, I get an exception:
