Having good disks is critical for etcd performance, we need to run the etcd-perf workload (https://github.com/cloud-bulldozer/e2e-benchmarking/tree/master/workloads/etcd-perf) as part of the PerfScale CI as a sanity test to make sure the fsync timings are < 10 ms on the clusters under test.
