So ive been using my ELS for about 2 years now, PCBs purchased from Clough42s ebay auctions.
Recently, my stepper just stopped turning mid-cut, spent a while trying to figure it out, and noticed that if I pull the EN wire from the driver it works.
a few days later, noticed that the direction button no longer changes the direction.
I can change the feeds/TPI, but that is about it. Also RPM is displayed properly.
I did find a loos ground on the back of the display, replacing it changed nothing.
I swapped out a spare unused driver just to make sure that wasn't the issue, it wasn't.
should I replace the display/level shifting board to see if that is the issue? or does anyone have any ideas?
