I'll create an issue about output formatting. Would be nice to have the options to write .mrcs instead of .h5 and a .star readily readable by Relion.

I think EMAN switched to .h5. Steve Ludtke speaks to it in this presentation about data compression of cryoEM images: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEDAme0-fQ4&t=241s

But by far .mrc is more common.

Could also do .npy/.npz for numpy array.
