There is currently no explicit binary compatibility policy for libflang. This could result in a situation where we release a new compiler version which is not binary compatible, breaking all dependent libraries, which when fully developed, will probably be half of the packages on conda-forge. The solution to this is IMO a versioned flang feature ("flang1") similar to the vc feature.
