Hi,

After further investigation I'm not sure that's the issue. I have worked through the code and it seems that the replace is not doing what it's expected to do. When replacing the string to add the "first" and "last" class, it does so only on the first and second item, or on the first and last but in the wrong order. There was also issues with it not closing the tag with quotes, which causes the render issue.

I have decided to change the approach and use JS to add the class to the list at this stage, but I will need to work through the approach from a PHP perspective.
