The current version cannot be used in PHP 8.4.

Can you be more specific? I'm using it successfully in a PHP 8.4 project (my site repo), and tests pass with flying colors (formalized in #136).

You're right, my mistake. I don't understand where I was looking on Friday evening, I thought the problem was in composer.json. I apologize, we can close the issue.
