Have yoy tried the steps in our Trouble Shooting Guide? If you are driving the IR Led only from the ESP device, you won't be providing enough current to the LED. You need to supply power to the LED directly from a power supply, not powered by a the GPIO. You need to use the GPIO to control a transistor (a switch) that allows a much bigger current to flow to the IR Led. |

I have a Panasonic AC, remote is a simple one without LCD. I captured the IR code from the original remote and put into irsend, the power of the AC can be controlled but just a very small range. I suspected the IR LED I use may be not a correct type so I soldered the IR LED out from the original remote and replace the one on IR module but no improvement on range. Anything I can do with this issue?
