I wanted to ask first here, whether this repo reflects the actual current state of the work, or there is some more recent work to follow?

Hello. I encountered the same camera on the RK3566 tablet. True, it is not PineTab2, but very similar. I wanted to ask, did you eventually succeed with the driver on gc02m2? Or is everything you did in this repository?

Finally, adding this line to dts solved the problem with camera detection:
power-domains = <&power RK3568_PD_VI>
Without it, there was no generation of the PWM signal (CLK_CIF_OUT) at 24 MHz!
Now this driver outputs the following:

[    9.770375] gc02m2 2-0037: lane_num(1)  pixel_rate(67200000)
[    9.925014] gc02m2 2-0037: Enter gc02m2_initialize_controls(1059) !
[    9.929486] gc02m2 2-0037: detected gc02f0 sensor

But the camera still doesn't work, because there are still a lot of things that need to be done!

In general, this driver alone is not enough. For the camera to work, three more drivers are needed, which are not in the Mainline kernel.

• rockchip,rk3568-csi2-dphy-hw - CSI-2 physical layer interface
• rockchip,rk3568-csi2-dphy - virtual channel demux and bridge between CSI and ISP
• rockchip,rk3568-rkisp - ISP block for image processing

If the first two are still relatively small and could be tried to be ported into the mainline kernel, then I think there will be problems with the last one (ISP).

So for now we can only use rockchip-bsp linux kernel v6.1.115.
