Cant find igfxDHLib.dll in system32 !!intel graphic command center is not supported? #24
Comments
dang, oct 25, 40 DAYS HAVE BEEN PASSED AND STILL NO ANSWERS |
This is a known issue but I don't have a way to test the new Intel Graphic Command Center at the moment. @ikars887 I see that you are new to GitHub, I hope you understand this is no one's job and the code is public so anyone capable would be able to contribute. No one is entitled to anything, people can be busy. |
An update on this: I did take a look at the new Intel Graphics Command Center and it looks like a complete rewrite of both the application and related libraries. As always, Intel did not release any public libraries or documentation, so it will require to reverse engineer the application to understand how it works. It should be conceptually similar to the older version but I cannot promise anything. |
Interestingly, I recently switched to Command Center, and I could find the DLL in System32, even though I have uninstalled the old UHD Control Panel. This may be because I haven't restarted my computer since the uninstall, though. |
Yes I guess the DLL might just be a leftover from the previous version, what's interesting is that it still appears to be working (at least for now with the current drivers). Could you please upload your igfxDHLib.dll file either here or via email (on my profile) so I can take a look at it? |
Same here, I've every DLL except igfxDHLib lol, since the graphics center is replaced with UWP app DLL locations are also changed. I can upload them and send you if you want by the way, i will take a look into your app and check the DLLs also. Seems it's still uses the igfx to adjust things maybe can find a solution. |
I think @daniele-salvagni have a fix for the dll. |
Closing this as most of the information regarding this kind of issues has been gathered in #16. |
