Compatibility with EasyRedmine Plugin

EasyRedmine developers are declaring the redmine_mylyn_connector as 'not a working plugin' with their own Redmine plugin. See: http://www.klaros-testmanagement.com/de/forum/-/message_boards/message/319379 for reference
- Are there known reasons why these two plugins are not compatible?
- Are there any plans to remedy this situation by any redmine_mylyn_connector fork maintainer?
