This Issue is to collect ideas for types, constants, functions, etc that

  • could exist in 'package space' and/or 'user space', when we get a bit further along with our other priorities
  • apply to a reasonably wide enough group of people that this list doesn't become infinite

These will come up naturally, as we reach for them, but it's useful to keep a little list around so we can feel the ideas are recorded somewhere. Many items here are accessible to contributors, especially with a bit of up-front communication.

Some of these should be in Dark.Stdlib, but it's not clear which

  • Timespans
  • JWT functions
  • OpenAI and similar
  • Twilio
  • an html view engine, like the F# library "Giraffe" has: here
    • libraries wrapping common things such as Bulma like this
  • Redis bindings
  • Neo4J bindings
  • various linux bindings, and bindings for terminal applications
  • auth packages
  • various http middlewares
  • various http client wrappers (similar to Http.fs, FsHttp, Oryx, etc)
  • terminal AI chat clients (review a bunch, summarize features/experiences, and make one in Dark)
