I recently acquired a four-player BlueRetro adapter from AliExpress, this is the first adapter I bought and the first contact I have with BlueRetro.
My intention was to update it to version 1.9, as I believed it would enhance compatibility with the 8bitdo wireless mod, my controller of choice. However, I've encountered a problem. When attempting to use https://blueretro.io/ to flash the new firmware, the site disconnects the Bluetooth device before providing an option to upload the file.
Sometimes, the bin upload button briefly appears but disconnects rapidly. It's perplexing because the "format memory pak" option functions flawlessly.
I am aware of the RetroScaler firmware bin and the recommendation to use NodeMcu PyFlasher, but this program becomes stuck during the connecting phase, it seems am not even being able to get to the bin part in both cases.
While I acknowledge that this may be a relatively inexpensive item from AliExpress, I'm curious if anyone in the community has experience with it and has successfully updated it to version 1.9, since where I live there isn't many options to choice from and I'm not really into creating one
