New Mapping reference:Fight Sticks

Enough fight sticks are "Universal Fight Sticks" and are usually thought of as:
QP, MP, HP, 3XP
QK, MK, HK, 3XK

Some people label them as
1P, 2P, 3P, 4P
1K, 2K, 3K, 4P

Those label assume a combination of Street Fighter and SNK standard.

Maybe you should add that button label listings as a controller source.
