Paste chosen content to focused field

When I press Ctrl + Super + V and select one entry in clipped I would expect to get that value pasted into the focused input field.
Instead I have to press Ctrl + V afterwards.

Does this happen only with specific applications or all the time?

Seems to be all the time.

I tried it with Scratch and Google Chrome. I tried also pressing a number key to select, but same.

I have a related issue. I don't even get the content with Ctrl + V after my selection. In Chrome I can get it only with mouse right-click - paste. Pasting with keyboard doesn't work.
