is there a solution to print message with printf for example in the console with mame ?

Right now no, the stdout file descriptor is a mock that is only there to allow the standard library to build fully.

I know that Mame has good Lua scripting, so it could be possible to run a Lua script that watch a specific memory and dump its contents on the host's console when memory changes. If we stretch this idea, we could also reopen stdout to output data into a speciic memoery location, and you would get transparent printf to your console. But that's a lot of ifs, and this is not available in the toolkit yet.

I'll keep that issue opened to see if we can achieve something without too much hassle, but for the short term, you're probably better served with sprintf on the emulator screen, or your own custom Lua scripts.
