Amazon photos works well with the TV via an Amazon Fire stick but our cameras are android devices that feed Google Photos.

Build an album on Google an then sync with Amazon?

meanwhile... both have face detection.. Justin's birthday is coming up... our old Apple iPhoto archives have face detection too...

TimBL used to put his photos on a calendar, didn't he? That seems like an obvious hack.

I set up a guix media-pc; it's runninng the iPhoto with datasette thing. I wonder if it could host a service for this.
