plug-in "CHECKLIST" slows obsidian down severely

The plug-in "CHECKLIST", Version 2.2.13 severely impacts the processing speed when taking notes in obsidian (v1.4.16). With it installed I cannot really do much until obsidian will freeze for a second, up to many long seconds, for each key stroke (to insert a word became very tedious). Without this plug-in obsidian runs smoothly as ever and as intended. I turned all plug-ins off and then each plug-in individually on to find the misbehaving plug-in. I found with only CHECKLIST to slow down obsidian, no other plug-in running besides. Now I got rid of it and obsidian behaves very well with more than 30 plug-ins running. I run Windows 11 Pro, Build 22621.ni_release.220506-1250.
