Describe the bug
In Windows 11 it is not possible to use the stylus to drag-select, or drag the scroll bars, or drag out new variable or function instances, or drag out from a node to get a new object, and moving certain nodes is hit-or-miss --- sometimes it is possible, othertimes it is not --- at least on a Samsung tablet w/ S-Pen.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. purchase a new Samsung tablet running Windows 11 (I bought a Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 because I gave up on a replacement for my Book 12 being made, and it became untenable to continue to stay back on Windows build 1703) EDIT: I'm pretty sure this same problem would happen on any machine running Windows 10 Fall Creators Update or later.
  2. (optional) disable Windows Ink using the Registry Edit --- tried it both on and off and no effect --- FURTHER FURTHER EDIT: It turns out that enabling the option under Settings | Bluetooth & Devices | Additional Pen Settings | Let me use my pen as a mouse when it's available is the cause of this behaviour --- allowing this app to work w/ that option enabled would be a welcome quality of life improvement.
  3. install OSGE
  4. try to use it as noted above, attempting to instantiate new objects, drag-select, drag the scroll bars, or move nodes with the stylus

Expected behavior
It is expected that these things will work with a stylus.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows 11

Additional context
It may be that this works better on tablets made by other manufacturers, but Samsung makes a lot of tablets, and is one of only a few manufacturers making tablets using Wacom EMR stylus technology.

FURTHER EDIT: And to add insult to injury, all of this sort of works when using touch.
