Java 11 - the latest long-term support release of Java - was released on 25th September 2018. However the documentation still recommends installing the now 5 year-old Java 8. Perhaps this should be updated to 11, especially since the version naming has changed which may create confusion for people using this documentation.

Feel free to open Pull Request with the changes!

You can easily edit the page and make it version agnostic.
