hey, I am interested in working on this issue. Can you please assign it to me?
As far as I understand, I have to make the button/toggle switch that converts the page from light mode to dark mode, correct?
Does Bulma CSS need to be used for this issue or can I use Vanilla CSS?

Yes, correct, you can use vanilla CSS but make sure it plays nicely with bulma. Otherwise, you can have a look at ready-made solution like https://jenil.github.io/bulmaswatch/
