Describe the issue:

Hi,

I was wondering if we can add Squelch function to SSB too? I see in the SW that FM subaudible tone is used to detect signal, in SSB there is no such tone, so I wonder if Squelch in present SW can be performed?

FM there is a squelch based on a calculation of the power of the modulated FM signal.
In addition there is the subtone detection option, which can replace the squelch based on the signal power. So there are two different "squelch"approaches.
If any of these would work in SSB reliablyI don't know.
