Not able to report logs

I've got the following error, while trying on local machine. I'm using ElasticSearch V6.2.3

org.elasticsearch.metrics.ElasticsearchReporter: Reporting returned code 406 Not Acceptable: {}

I guess they broke the API compatibility again. Unfortunately, elastic no longer maintains https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch-metrics-reporter-java.
There are some forks, but none of them is available on maven central.
