Cannot log in Wikipedia with CookieBlock set to "allow functionality cookies" #20

My CookieBlock is set to "allow functionality cookies". I cannot log in Wikipedia: it shows error No active login attempt is in progress for your session. I have to add the domain of Wikipedia to the exempt list of CookieBlock to make it work.
