As a user i want to have small tutorial slides with explanations how to use the app

Acceptance Criteria

  • Intro slides with information about the learn concept (different exercise types)
  • The important functions and screens like:
    • module & profession selection
    • dictionary function
    • my words
    • explanation what custom disciplines are

  1. Sollen die Intro Slides und Hint Popups auf der aktuellen App Umsetzung basieren oder sollen die angedachten Änderung zu: LUN-487 Adjust Homescreen, berücksichtigt werden?

<~andreas.fischer> an AC is to show the "dictionary function". This is the Tab which called "Search" now right?

@IsabellaTG I think it would make more sense if the intro slides and pop ups are based on LUN-487 Adjust Homescreen. Otherwise you have to do the design twice, correct?

@IsabellaTG I like the designs, good work :) I've added a few comments in Figma

@IsabellaTG and @juliawohlhueter I do not think the hints make sense, if they do not have any additional information and just repeating more or less what is already on the screen. So maybe we should think of the screens, where we really need them because we want to add more information. For example I think the hint on the Exercise overview screen is useless, whereas the explanation of the star is helpful.

hmm, yes I think @ztefanie is right.

Yes, I totally agree.
The goal of the concept was to first create a general pattern for the intros slides. (Slide cards, headline, description text, pagination dots, cancel button, interaction etc.) With this, the slide components could be reused and just the title and description text, where the slides are relevant at what stage of implementation state, needs to be defined.

So how to best proceed with this ticket?
-> UI Ticket is done as the slide pattern is defined and I will create a new dev ticket just with design acceptance criterias for the slide pattern itself without text and po can decide when the slide is needed and what text should be displayed?

Sounds good, but where are the Intro Slides designs? In the link above I can only find the PopUps

Yes, the PopUps are basically part of the Intro Slides pattern, which coud be reused with different content if needed. Do we have a different understanding here? What was your expected result?
Just ping me in the chat for a short sync if needed :)

@IsabellaTG
Intro Slides: First thing you see, when you install the app, like it is in Integreat
Pop Ups: Only pop up, when you click on a feature or open a page in the app for the first time.

@ztefanie Thanks for the integrated example. This makes it easier to have the same understanding.
So you mean that besides the "pop-ups", the "intro slides" like in integreat are still missing, right?
Since lunes conception is currently paused, please let me know how to continue here/if concept should adapted.

@IsabellaTG In the ticket it is mentioned, there should be "Intro slides". I think it is completely up to you to decide if they make sense for the user, so I am fine with only Pop-ups if you say it is enough. But you are right, as we currently have enough Lunes tickets for now, so now hurry to finish this.
