recently Helios has been having a ton of problems. Please check if the issue ur about to make is addressed by this issue.

• Helios does not load the Google search, instead it just asks if u want to reload and crashes when you accept. This is because the German cors.lol and Google apparently had a fallout and refuse to work with each other. Until those Germans fix their shit this issue will not be resolved, but I am adding a patch to switch to the fallback French cors solution whenever you make a Google search.

• All my shit is in French! What?? This is because the cors solution I use is in France. please just bear with it for now, but a fix is on the way.

• all my shit is in French (2)! And there are weird question mark in diamond symbols everywhere! the diamonds are the lost data Unicode symbol. Something on the French side ('é' mostly) is not translating properly back to Helios. Fix on the way

• AI says that the API is exhausted. For this one, the API is exhausted. Please wait a day for it to work again, and MAKE SURE not to spam questions, as u might get marked for possible abuse and blocked for a short time

• Helios just loads forever and I don't even get an error message or any reason for why I'm waiting! This one's a tough one. Short story, I fucked up in early Helios and made two functions that don't align with each other. Long story, I made TWO functions named fetchExternalContent, and only one of them works, but the other one has the error page and half of the encryption. This is the current main priority, because I want you stuff to be encrypted (i don't trust the French, no matter how vetted and privacy law following they are), the error page I added like 4 versions ago just haven't been seen, and it might also fix the question mark in diamond issue because only half of ur request was encrypted.

• I can't sign into (Discord/Google/Microsoft/etc)! ok I have absolutely no fucking clue how to fix this. Believe me, I'm sorry and I want I just as fixed as u do, but I have to get Helios working first before I fanagle around with this one.

• JavaScript doesn't work????? yeah fuck. Shit. Fuckign shit man I hate this project (on the fix list, I think fixing and combining the functions will help

The priority list goes as follows, and will be underway on 1/24/2025 (American) and 24/1/2025 (rest of the world). I have to do midterms first :<

1. Combine and fix the nonfunctioning and functional fetchExternalContent functions
2. Fix white screen Google crash issue (the lazy solution is to remove the German one, the one I'll use will selectivly remove the German one. In the meantime use bing idk)
3. Fix lost data Unicode symbols by hopefully substituting the correct symbol in post fetch
4. French.
5. JavaScript issues, I think this is related to the nonfunctioning fetchExternalContent function, so hopefully fixing that should help
6. Sign in issues, I really have no clue how to do this so I'll fix the rest and move onto it
