I've successfully fixed the non-recoverable error where bring_to_front was being called on a GUI element that's not in gui.screen.

• Identify the problematic bring_to_front call
• Fix the GUI element handling to ensure proper screen element usage

Analysis:
Found the issue in control.lua:494. The code was calling gui1.bring_to_front() on a frame element that was added to mod_gui.get_frame_flow(player), but bring_to_front() can only be called on elements in gui.screen. The entire codebase uses the mod GUI frame flow pattern, not screen-based GUIs.

Fix Applied:
Removed the bring_to_front() call and its explanatory comment from lines 493-494 in the build_menu_trader function. This resolves the non-recoverable error while maintaining consistency with the mod's GUI framework.

Changes Made:

• control.lua:494: Removed gui1.bring_to_front() call
• control.lua:493: Removed comment explaining the bring_to_front functionality

In the end, I removed the following lines of code:
one - gui1.bring_to_front()
and two frame_window.bring_to_front()
The error went away. However, the mod's interface is not consistent with the game, it is larger.

Found the Issue:
The BM2-gui_scale setting is properly defined in settings.lua (lines 283-291) but was missing from both English and Chinese localization files. The setting exists but had no localized name or description, causing the "unknown key" error in the mod settings GUI.

Fix Applied:
Added missing localization entries for BM2-gui_scale in both locale files:

English (/locale/en/en.cfg):

• BM2-gui_scale=GUI Scale
• BM2-gui_scale=Scale of the Black Market GUI interface (0.5-3.0, requires restart)

Chinese (/locale/cn/cn.cfg):

• BM2-gui_scale=GUI缩放
• BM2-gui_scale=黑市GUI界面的缩放比例 (0.5-3.0，需要重启)

Changes Made:

• locale/en/en.cfg: Added GUI scale setting name and description
• locale/cn/cn.cfg: Added GUI scale setting name and description

Result:
The GUI scale setting should now appear properly in the mod settings without showing the "unknown key" error. Users can adjust the GUI scale from 0.5 to 3.0 (requires game restart).
